Fun at the Circus!

Saturday we went to the circus with a group from our church. We went before it started and got to see the clowns and other circus people up close. Katie was not scared at all but Ben.... well he freaked! But once the show got started he loved it!!! I had not been to the Circus since I was little and it is so much more fun seeing it through your children's eyes!!!

Birmingham Snow!

For the first time in like 7 years it snowed in Birmingham! Of course it was like maybe 2 inches at our house but that was enought for Katie and Ben to have a ton of fun. Until they got soo cold thay their whole bodies were red and swollen. We weren't quite prepared clothing wise. But all the while it was fun and the highlight of our Saturday. Tonight we were playing around and beening silly. Katie and Ben like to ride the horse... which is actually Craig. His poor knees can not take too much of it. Not sure how he was able to give both of them a ride at the same time!

Views from the National Championship

Craig made his last trip of the football season to New Orleans for the LSU vs Ohio State game. Although he is tired of traveling, (he had many mishaps with flying over the last few weeks) I think he had a great time at the game and apparently on Bourbon street later. Ha Ha! Just Joking! The pictures below were taken during the pregame warm up. Now we have 2 months of quiet until basketball tournament time rolls around in March. This is perfect timing since I will be swamped with national board work.

Austin Children's Museum

While out In Texas, we drove down to Austin to visit the children's museum. The kids had a ball. They had a little pretend restaurant where Katie prepared Mimi a delicious meal! They had a construction zone for Ben to build and a stage where Katie could sing and play the guitar to Willie Nelson. It was great fun!

Below are some random pictures from Texas. Ben and Pop had a ball over the holidays. Dad finally got his boy. They tried on the cowboy hats and all Ben could say was "e-haw". Katie got an Auburn cheerleading outfit from Mimi and Pop and wore that thing every day. She would have worn it outside in 30 degree weather if we would have let her. She put it on during the Peach Bowl and cheered Auburn to their victory! War Eagle! We also had movie marathons while in Texas. Most days you would find us all perched infront of the TV... man, it was nice having nothing to do! Now it is back to reality!!!!
