Here are some pictures from Courtney and Jason's wedding. Katie was fortunate to be asked to be the flower girl. Courtney is very special to us and has been so sweet to both Katie and Ben so we were more than delighted that Katie would be a part of this very special day... Courtney of course looked gorgeous!! The wedding location was unreal!!! Katie and Daniel were perfect... they were so cute. They walked down to "Jesus Loves Me" which was precious. Katie felt so pretty and was so proud to be the flower girl. Courtney and Jason are now off to Greece... wow... wish I was there!!!

Rehearsal Night

I drove with Katie and Ben back from the beach on Thursday and got home at 3 to turn around and get Ben to the McKeans by 4 so Katie and I could be at Courtney and Jason's rehearsal dinner by 5. It was a whirlwind but we did it. Katie was so excited about the evening and the wedding. Here are a few pics from that night... I will post some from the wedding later!!! Courtney was beautiful!!!

SEC Spring Meetings 2008

We just got back from SanDestin a couple of days ago and had a great time!! Of course Craig had to work most of the time but we did get to enjoy him on Monday. We had to come back early since Katie was in a wedding yesterday!!! This is the first year I have not taken anyone with me to help with the kids... I drove down there and back by myself.. It was not that bad!!! Katie and Ben were super for me most of the time!!! Katie really loves the pool and stayed out there most of the time while Ben really likes the beach... that was a little complicated so we had to compromise alot while we were there!!! We arrived back in BHAM tanned and exhausted!!!

Boy this is a busy time for us. Last night was Katie's graduation from Primrose (yeah, one less daycare bill!!!) It is amazing what a year makes... last year she cried because she did not want to walk down the aisle... this year she was all smiles, waving and blowing kisses!!!

Craig is busy with the SEC baseball tourney and then we are headed to Destin for the SEC Spring Meeting... I will post pics from that trip when we get back. Here are some pics from last night. (we have had more family pics this last few days than we have had in 5 years!!!

Ben's 3rd Birthday Bash

We celebrated Ben's 3rd birthday (which is officially on the 19th) at the fire station today. He had all of his best buddies and their older siblings which happen to be Katie's best buddies too! For those of you who know Ben, he is quite shy and today was no exception. He hid his face when we sang happy birthday to him and it took him a while to warm up to get on the fire truck but he did and loved it all!! The weather was perfect for this outside party. Mother's Day Weekend

For those who may not know, Katie has had some anxiety about getting on the big stage for the recital... or maybe that was mama that had the anxiety!!! She was so excited and did beautifully! This recital built her confidence more than anything she has ever done... so it was definately worth every penny and all the time and effort!

We had a jammed packed weekend! Katie had her first ballet recital, sang in church and had Grandmama come and visit. It was hectic but all in all a great weekend. Also, Craig bought me a new dresser, something I badly needed. However, that meant that we had to move furniture, clean out my old dresser and computer cabinet. It was a pretty big undertaking seeing that the new dresser was as tall as I am!! But we did it (just the two of us!) I can still move large furniture, although my back is still aching! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Enjoying the Spring Weather

It is so nice to come home and have time to play outside! It is not quite that hot and there is a nice breeze. Katie and Ben like sitting in the garage in their chairs just hanging out. Katie has also enjoyed riding her bike. The next challenge is taking the training wheels off!! That should be fun. Here are a few pics of an afternoon this past week!

Bon Jovi ROCKS!!!

Wednesday night Craig and I made the trip to Atlanta for the Bon Jovi concert! It was unbelievable!!! The best part was that in the middle of the concert he came and sang two songs directly in front of us!!! I got to touch his hand and everything!!! It was incredible!!! We had the best time and rocked out hard!!! Here are some pics of the great night!!!
